Rules and Regulations!
First things first, the Out of Character Rules.
01. Our number one rule here at Pyrrhic is respect. Be respectful to staff, be respectful to members, and be respectful to guests. You've got two strikes. One strike, and you get a warning. The second, however, and you're banned. No questions asked. We will not tolerate disrespect of anyone. I understand that sometimes you're kidding, but do not be hurtful. It's just not right.
02. Keep swearing to a minimum. We all do it, and I don't mind particularly much, but it's a necessity that I say it. I don't want the f-bomb thrown out there every other word. It's distracting and rude. That being said, we're not kids anymore. Just use your judgment and keep yourself classy.
03. If you've got a bone to pick, don't let an administrator or moderator see it. Because we will pluck it right out of your hands and tell you to take it elsewhere.
04. DON'T POST SO MUCH OOC THAT IT RUNS UP YOUR POST COUNT. Games are fun. Chatting is awesome. But don't use it to bring up your post count by like 50 posts. I will catch you and lower it so it's more accurate. If you want to talk so bad, do it in the cbox.
05. If you're leaving for an extended period of time, please post in the absence board. We will have bi-monthy activity checks, and we will delete you if you disappear for ten years without posting there.
06. Be mature. Please. We won't stand for people who are immature and stupid. If you're thirteen, that's great! Just be mature enough to handle an intermediate/advanced roleplay. If you're twenty-six and act like a five year old, I'd bet you have bigger issues than just a roleplay site.
07. If you abuse the cbox, it will be taken away. It's a privilege, not a right.
08. No roleplaying in OOC topics unless otherwise specified. You would think that's self explanatory, but believe me. It happens.
09. Your account name is your nickname. Just make sure you title your posts with your character's name (or have a table!) and we'll be fine. Go ahead and use some simple symbols to beautify your name, but don't go overboard. You don't need 100 punctuation marks so your name looks like ";;;;..;.;;;.;.;..;;;]]][]][[{N.am<e}[[[s.." It makes you look like a retard, and Nile or another mod will change it. We've got that power, you know.
10. Speaking of characters, they MUST be in your signature. If you have no signature image, then you must put the name and breed of your canine in printing. Signature images must be no larger than 550x200px PER IMAGE. You can have one for each character, but in that case, limit the height to 100px per image.
11. Avatars can be whatever you like, but keep them to 100x200px. Nile really likes avatars that aren't 100x100.
12. You are allotted four characters at a time. You must grovel at Nile's feet for another, or purchase one at the store.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: This is a new bit of information! You can have as many dog characters as you want, but ONE WOLF. This means that you can have one full-blooded wolf OR two hybrid wolves! The right to more "wolf coins" will be available in the shop.
In Character Rules
01. No god-modding and no powerplaying without permission. Your dog is not invincible. You've got to be realistic about this. Your wolf cannot possibly walk away fine if an avalanche pounds it into the ground. Seriously? Be rational.
02. YOU WILL NOT POST IN CHARACTER UNTIL YOUR CHARACTER IS ACCEPTED. Period. No exceptions. Ever. Nile will be very salty if you break this rule, and you may have just ruined your chances at getting some Nile lovin'.
03. Bold(or color) your speech and italicize your thoughts. This makes it easier for readers to pick apart your post and see exactly what they have to reply to. Plus, it looks sweet. Am I right?
04. Liquid time is allowed, but do not abuse it. In other words, you can keep your pups in as many threads at one time as you feel like you can handle. I prefer one or two, but you can use your judgment.
05. Be literate. Poor grammar will not be accepted. Also, you must capitalize and punctuate properly or Nile's spine may actually crawl so much that it crawls out of her body. And then you'll be out of a creator and administrator and probably on Nile's bad side. So don't do it.
06. Posts must be at least 200 words. Exceeding that number is highly recommended. A 200 word post is usually not a good one. Quality over quantity, I know, but 200 words? We can do better than that, folks.
07. Breeding can be as graphic as a PG-13 movie would be. Proboards T.O.S. dictates no mature content. Use your discretion. Like I said, we're not kids anymore.
08. An administrator will pick the number of puppies you get in a litter, as well as any ailments they might have. You can decide genders and appearances.
